Benefits of Microblading/Permanent Makeup removal
Gentle during treatment: An anaesthetic is used for your comfort and the area is worked very lightly, without needing to over traumatise you or your skin.
Quickly dries skin, forming a thin scab: Treated skin starts to dry out within the first few hours. For you this means minimal inflammation and associated risk of scarring, plus minimal risk of infection. Brows can look better during healing: Many clients worry what they’ll look like during healing; the answer is that the treated area can often look better! Unwanted grey or orange brows will usually change to shades of brown during the healing process, so you may get complimented on your new eyebrows for a few days !
After 48 hours you can shower/wash hair: As long as you keep the treated area dry, you can shower & wash your hair, as normal.
Minimal risk of scarring: Once the initial healing has taken place (5-7 days), you can begin using the prescribed aftercare, which helps with healing and minimizes scarring.
What happens during treatment?
The area is cleaned & numbing cream is applied so there is usually minimal discomfort during treatment
The removal solution is soaked into the area to be treated, with skin opened up in a light skin needling type action
Each treatment takes approx. 1 hour
You go home with an Aftercare Pack with full instructions
How many treatments will I need?
You may see some improvement after the first session and most clients see improvements after 2 or 3 sessions. However, there are too many variables to give a ‘cover all’ answer. Any kind of tattoo removal is a process, so we suggest committing to a course of 3 treatments, spaced 6-8 weeks apart, so we can assess how easily the pigment is removing from your skin. Much depends how deep the colour sits in the skin & what pigments have been used...the russets, lilacs and warm colours from years of top ups can all vary. Also, whether your goal is complete removal, or just some lightening so the area can be re-worked. During the removal process, we are assessing how well the pigment is responding.
Some other factors to consider are:
The newer your Permanent Makeup , the easier it is to remove
Initially the pigment may look darker before it gets lighter
Pigment that sits deep in the skin comes up to the surface
This makes removal easier in further sessions
